Listen. Act. Transform.
With equal parts pragmatism and philosophy, I approach the process of therapy from a strength-based perspective, focusing on the potentials of reflection to bring about intentional choices. Life transitions can offer opportunities, however painful, to identify patterns and create alternatives. I deeply commit to collaboration in all aspects of my work bringing an integrative approach to multiple contexts. The Gottman Method and Discernment therapy inform my work with couples, and for those reconsidering marriage, I am a Certified Divorce Coach.
Having a 30 year career in the arts and higher education, I draw from creative and theoretical resources, relying equally on conventional theories as kinesthetic observations. Years of work in conflict-resolution have led to work in intersections of identities, be they cultural, class, gender, or sexuality.
